The Main Event…
Festive Roast
A festive roast of butterflied chicken breast generously filled with pork, sage and apricot stuffing, wrapped in smoky sweet-cured bacon. Served with 'roasties', a medley of seasonal vegetables and a sweet cranberry gravy to complete this Christmassy feast.
Beef Bourguignon En Croute
Homemade buttery puff pastry, brimming with tender beef brisket, slow-cooked in a rich red wine, mushroom and shallot gravy. Served with crispy roast potatoes and traditional honey roasted root vegetables to complete this hearty plate.
Spiced Vegetable Filo Parcel
Indulge in our golden vegetable filo parcel, generously stuffed with braised lentils, lightly spiced sweet potato, peas, and spinach for a burst of flavours. Accompanied by a hearty chunky tomato, cauliflower, chickpea, and potato curry-style sauce.
The Final Treat…
Chocolate Brownie
Warm chocolate brownie with a winter spiced mixed berry compote, drizzled with a rich chocolate sauce, crystallised dark chocolate and served with clotted cream ice cream.
Panettone Bread and Butter Pudding
Bread and butter pudding using panettone loaf, baked with white chocolate, cherries and served with sauce Anglaise.

I love the Bistro Business Club, Thursday lunchtimes have never been so much fun! There is a great structure with the ice breaker quiz which is always a laugh, followed by an opportunity to network with your table and a lovely 2 course meal.
Sarah, Jack, Tom and the team couldn’t make you feel anymore welcome. There is such a lovely, relaxed atmosphere which allows you to make real, genuine, connections.

I have been a member of the Business Club for about 5 years now & there's no better place to spend the last Thursday of the month than at Bistro Live!
During this time I've met some amazing business people that have not only helped my own business but that of my own network too. I personally think one of the qualities of the meeting is how it is run. The friendly staff set the tone of a relaxed environment as soon as you enter & from there it just gets better. Open networking, followed by the famous 'ice breaker' pop quiz & then more networking on your table. Then the food comes out, WOW!
All-in-all a great couple of hours spent growing your networking & getting more business, I would highly recommend a visit and joining!

I joined The Bistro Live Business Club in 2017. It offers a different style of networking to many of the organised groups I’ve tried before. It’s informal, sociable and enjoyable, which allows you to get to know people and build relationships. Members get to invite a new person every month, so there are always new faces and new networking opportunities. As it’s a lunchtime event, it fits in well with my work schedule and the two-course lunch is always superb.

Why should you join?
Are you ready to join one of the largest Networking Events in Leicester?
Here at The Bistro Live Business Club we offer our members access to one of the fastest growing Networks in Leicester, you will also get a number of other benefits, such as:
- Strategic table arrangements
- Opportunity to do the Members’ ‘3 Minute Blatant Plug’
- Table of 6 at Bistro Live
- Free place at the December Christmas Party
- All members can display a pop up banner and bring along leaflets/flyers at the lunches
- 1 to 1 meeting with a Director (including networking training/guidance if needed)
- Members will have the opportunity to bring along a guest for FREE each month to drive membership, and welcome new people along.
Membership is only £35.00 + VAT per month and includes your membership and monthly lunch for yourself and a guest. There is also a one off joining fee of £25.00.
The Business Club is 100% Risk Free. If you feel the membership is not for you or your company, you can cancel your membership immediately. You have not signed a contract, so there is no cancellation charge.
What can you do to get the most out of your membership?
We don’t want to teach you to suck eggs, but we do want to highlight the simplest ways you can make the most out of networking and more specifically, your membership with us:
- Let us know who you would like to sit with – before every event you will receive a copy of the delegate list, email us back and let us know who (if anyone) you want to sit with that month, and we will do our best to make it happen.
- Follow up – This is the most important networking rule and one you will probably already know, but it’s still worth mentioning. The Bistro Live Business Club lunch is just the first step, keep a copy of all business cards you collect, highlight or make notes on the ones you have potential future business with and follow up with an email the day after.
- Use the benefits – there are many advertising benefits within your membership. Bring leaflets/brochures to place out on the membership tables on the day, to promote any special offers or events you have coming up.
- ‘3 Minute Blatant Plug’ – each month we allow one member to have 3 minutes on stage, plugging their business, themselves or a special offer. We take bookings well in advance, just let us know when you would like to take advantage of this.

My role in the Bistro Live Business Club is varied but the most important thing I do is the monthly music quiz...we designed it at first as an ice-breaker to get everyone talking in an informal way, but it has now taken on a life of its own. 25 pieces of music, each with a different connecting theme each month - you would not believe how competitive it gets...and no, I'm not open to bribes :)
